Submit Official Transcripts to RCC

If you are sending Official Transcripts for evaluation:

  • Utilize Parchment or other Electronic Service Provider
  • Mail to: RCC, 12745 College Drive, Glenns, VA 23149
  • In-person to Admissions and Records at Warsaw or Glenns (must be in a sealed envelope from original institution) 

Once we receive your transcript we will notify you and ask you to complete a transfer evaluation form. If you have not chosen a program of study, you must do so for credit to be applied. To declare a program of study, contact your College Navigator listed on your acceptance letter or email advisor@rappahannock.edu.

 

Request Official RCC Transcripts

Electronic Transcript

A $3 fee is charged to have your transcript sent electronically. This is the fastest and preferred method. RCC uses Parchment to manage the ordering and processing of electronic transcripts. Please allow 3 to 4 days for the college to receive your transcript.

 

Official Transcript

An official transcript carries the college seal and the signature of the Admissions and Records Officer and is mailed to the selected recipient. There is no fee for sending an official transcript. Please allow 5 to 10 days for your college to receive your transcript.

To request an official transcript:

 

  • Log in to myRCC and click on VCCS SIS: Student Information System.
  • Click Student Center.
  • Under Academics click the down arrow button next to other academic… and choose Transcript: Request Official from the drop down list.
  • Click the right arrow button.
  • Select Academic Institution from the drop down list — choose Rappahannock Community College.
  • Click the Select Option drop down box and choose the appropriate option for issuing your transcript.
  • Enter the quantity of transcripts you wish to be sent.
  • Complete Recipient Address Information. To enter college or business address click the Edit Address link to add address information.
  • Click OK.
  • Click the Submit button.

 

Transcript Requests with incomplete addresses will not be processed.

 

Unofficial Transcript

  • A student may view and print a copy of their unofficial transcript. Unofficial transcripts do not bear the college seal.
  • Log in to myRCC and click on VCCS SIS: Student Information System.
  • Click Student Center.
  • Under Academics click the down arrow button next to other academic… and choose Transcript: View Unofficial from the drop down list.
  • Click the right arrow button.
  • Select Academic Institution from the drop down list — choose Rappahannock Community College.
  • Select Report Type from the drop down list — choose Unofficial Transcript.
  • Click the Go button. Please be patient, this may take a few minutes depending on your connection speed.
  • Print the transcript using the print icon on the browser’s button bar.

 

Degree Progress (Advising Transcript)

A student may view and print a copy of their Degree Progress Report using the online SIS. This report is for degree and certificate seeking students. A Degree Progress Report is an audit of the student’s progress in meeting graduation requirements.

  • Log in to myRCC and click on VCCS SIS: Student Information System.
  • Click Student Center.
  • Click My Academics.
  • Click View my advisement report.
