Rappahannock Community College is an open-entry institution offering career and technical education (CTE) programs in the following areas of study (list general CTE categories, such as health sciences; construction; engineering; law enforcement, culinary arts, etc.) Due to high demand, some CTE programs offer admission based on selective criteria through a separate application process that is non‐discriminatory. These programs are: (Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic I & II, Practical Nursing, Nurse Aide, Nursing, and Pre-Diagnostic Medical Sonography: Echocardiography Career Studies Certificate, and Diagnostic Medical Sonography: Echocardiography Specialization, AAS).
